  3. I truly have never met another human that created a beam of light with his smile, maybe it was the twinkle in his eyes. Ben did not just hug, he embraced. As I drove to work today, I was flooded of memories of sweet Ben. The many sleepovers, most of which Scott ended up on the couch, Ben’s intoxicating giggle, the way he enjoyed to eat and when he was sitting next to you, he could never get quite close enough. As believers in Christ Jesus, we are instructed to love with our heart, soul and mind….Benjamin did just that. Thank you for blessing us.
    Much Love, Laura Schafer

  5. I was so very saddened to hear of your loss. Benjamin was such an amazing little boy with a beautiful smile. I knew him when he was a preschooler and he was so kind and he had such a gentle nature. His sense of humor often came out during preschool and this helped make preschool fun.

  6. God Bless your family. I love that he knew Jesus and is with him now, it affords such a comfort in times of loss and sorrow. My children and I will be praying for your family, they weren’t close friends but did know him from school (6th and 3rd graders), please let me know if there is anything I can do for you.

  7. All our love and support during this time to Raymond, Marisa, Vicki and Lee. Ben was a special young man who has shown incredible resilience to grow and prosper in this world. We remember his addictive smile and contagious energy. Mostly, though, we remember his “I have something to say” voice. You had to listen, it was always important and his perspective never ceased to amaze. Godspeed, Benjamin

  28. While searching for another obituary I saw you lost your son and I wanted to send my condolences. The death of a child has been described as the ultimate loss, and I imagine there is no pain more far-reaching and deeper than losing a child. Our heart and prayers go out to you and the family at this most difficult time You may find that for a time your emotions will be somewhat unpredictable tears may flow without much advance warning be patient with yourself. The Bible assures us: “God is near to those that are broken at heart; and those who are crushed in spirit he saves.” (Psalm 34:18)
With sincere sympathy may these understanding thoughts help somehow to convey the sympathy that hearts can feel but words can never say.

  29. Vicky and family,

  31. My little buddy! I always looked for you Benjamin whenever the school had a function or a football game. I knew that we saw each other, I would get my big hugs and high fives. You are so special to me little buddy and can’t wait to get your hugs daily and high fives in heaven with you! I love you sweetie and I will miss you!!! Sunni Henry

I love you guys so much! I am here for you! Whenever, at any time, let me know what your needs are! I can’t even speak words, but If I could speak emotions, I’d have to write a book of how much I am sad and so full of compassion for each of you. I would have to fill the book up with the joy that benjamin is in my life and your whole family! How his smiles meant the world to me along with his hugs! I would write about the beauty of each of you and the beauty of how you all shine with Christ, as Benjamin showed Jesus so greatly! I would write that I love each of you in so many ways, and will never beable to say enough words or the right words for each of you are facing. Having 4 children with special needs, I understand this part of your life. But I do not understand this part of your life. But I am here for you and will try my best to understand as I have faced this same thing. Hugs and smooches! Sunni Henry
